Arrival

Katie and I arrived successfully yesterday at about 3 pm. There were no mishaps and we found our driver within about 10 minutes. Needless to say we were pretty impressed with ourselves. We were taken to the Santa Maria Inn, a B and B, which is very nice. Our first night was uneventful. Not knowing what to do when we got here, we just went out to dinner. It's different from my first trip as far as communication. We're not in such a touristy spot, and most of the people don't speak English (Imagine that!). We're leaving in about an hour to head up to Monteverde. It'll be about a 4 hour drive. So far, we think the people going with us include a guy who graduated from Brown (which naturally makes us feel incredibly intelligent lol) and a woman and her two kids.
We start our classes tomorrow (Yay). Another thing we have found out is that we don't know Spanish as well as originally thought. Of course that will change, with us studying hard and immersing ourselves in the culture :).
I'm going to quit writing because the keyboard's space button is being difficult. But hopefully there will be access to a computer in Monteverde and we can get some pictures up.
I miss everyone!
Adios!

So glad to hear all went well. Sent you a good-bye card but none of the Thunn's checked the mailbox!

The play was great--a bit heavy but music quite familiar and a super rock band. WE missed you.

Keep those adventures coming. (in English, please.)
